Professional counselling can provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for people to sit with and explore feelings, situations and experiences that are creating emotional and behavioural discomfort and difficulties.
Sometimes clients might be very aware of the reasons for the way they are feeling. For others, counselling can help to uncover and shed light on factors, thought patterns and experiences that may be relevant and significant.
Gaining insights and reflecting on these experiences can help clients make sense of what is going on for them. This process can lead to resolution and provide strategies and techniques that clients can use beyond the counselling room to support themselves in many aspects of their lives.
